Snapshots of Christmas - Part III

The finale in the trilogy of Christmas Snapshots! :) We were able to visit with my brother and his family twice at my parents home in San Antonio. It was fun to see them and let the cousins play together.

Watching a movie in 3D on Dad's new Blue Ray. Too cool!

This concludes our Christmas synopsis. Now to begin a new year...!!

Snapshots of Christmas - Part I

I suppose we were just too busy living our posts to be writing about them! Christmas at the May Home was beautiful and relaxing and all good. We were healthy when we needed to be, thank the Lord! And were able to celebrate the birth of our Savior with many of our beloved family and dear friends. Here are a few snapshots of our celebration.

Sights and Sounds

San Marcos has a sweet little Christmas tradition that Tom and I have enjoyed each year since we were dating. It's called Sights and Sounds of Christmas and it's pretty much your typical small town Christmas festival. One of the endearing main attractions, for me anyway, is a whole Bethlehem set up, with live nativity, camels and donkeys, candlemaking, breadmaking, and angels that stand sentinal on either side of the "city" entrance. As all good things do, Sights and Sounds has grown through the years to include carnival rides and lots of food and craft booths - more than I think is necessary. But, it still remains one of our favorite events to fit in each December. Petting the donkeys
